Know Before You Go
What to bring, what to wear, and what to leave at home
Quick Checklist
Things Every Camper Needs
The Basics
The campers are in cabins, but it's still camping. These basics are "bring your own."
Be Prepared for Outdoors
"Nature, it's all around me!" Remember to protect yourself from the elements.
Optional Items
These aren't required, but you might find them useful during the week.
Clothing
Camp is active! Bring comfortable clothing and be prepared to get wet and muddy.
Camp Manitoumi Dress Code
Please note: We rent Camp Manitoumi's facilities, so we are required to follow their dress code.
The following dress code is provided by Camp Manitoumi and applies to all campers:
"All clothing should be modest. No tight-fitting clothes, spaghetti straps, bare stomachs, or questionable advertisements. Shorts and skirts should be approaching the knee in length. For swimming, boys must wear trunks, and girls must wear a one-piece swimsuit or a tankini that overlaps at the waist.
"Camp Manitoumi reserves the right to ask anyone to change his or her outfit if, in the the estimation of the staff, it does not comply with these standards."
Please Leave These at Home
When in doubt, leave it at home. If you're unsure whether something is appropriate to bring, please contact us before camp.
Medications
All medications must be turned in to the camp medical staff for dispensing. Do not pack medications with the camper's personal belongings. They need to be turned in during check-in.
